In
association with GOLEM Integrated
Microelectronic Solutions, We
are currently offering a suit
of four Business Performance
Software which has been developed
by UNIDO. These are BEST,PHAROS,
FIT and MCCT.
BEST, the
"Business Environment
Strategic Toolkit"
is a software, decision-support
tool based on the synthesis
of state-of-the-art business
concepts (revenue- and market-oriented)
and a set of original, innovative
economic indicators to measure
business performance.
Enterprises today need to measure
its efficiency through analysis
of their marketing and sales,
costs, financial performance,
competitive strength, customer
satisfaction, total quality,
environmental and many other
indicators. These are required
to run the company with highest
achievable business performance,
continuous improvement of product
and process quality. Pure accounting
as the major information source
usually covers mostly financial
aspects of business. However
many of the experienced businessmen
know: only financial data does
not provide reliable foundation
for the business performance
measurement. They can be misleading.
There is a need for broader
set of measures, which are outside
of the regular finance and accounting.
If known at the right time,
this information can significantly
influence the correctness of
the strategic decisions, reorder
company priorities, improve
competitiveness, foresee bottlenecks,
and increase customer satisfaction.
BEST, which is short for "Business
Environment Strategic Toolkit",
is the PC software product developed
for those managers who want
to establish their own Enterprise
Management Assistant and Adviser.
The software allows to transform
your company's strategic objectives
into a coherent set of performance
measures meeting the manager
needs in market economies.
The primary enterprise monitoring
instrument is a set of 25 indicators,
i.e. arithmetic expressions
which combine business oriented
variables and parameters into
easy interpreted information.
In the definition of indicators,
BEST uses a number of parameters,
which are generally found in
modern business analysis. Such
parameters are as follows: added
value, contribution, production
costs, sales price and profit.
In addition new increasingly
important cost parameters such
as customer satisfaction, costs
related to quality assurance
and environmental costs are
explicitly presented in the
operating results data and graphs.
Especially attractive are non-financial
metrics which are not available
in traditional financial based
tools. |
